On the evening of Thursday, February 27th Machine Inc. hosted the BTMA for a membership get-together event. The Boston Tooling and Machining Association is the local affiliate chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association. We reconnected with fellow members and created new connections as we kicked off the first meeting of the year. Our members gave updates about what was happening in our community and shared our unique stories.
We were also joined by students and instructors from local vocational machining programs. The evening presented a unique opportunity to learn about their experiences. Members were also able to engage with the next generation of machinists and their parents. Additionally, some of our legislative leaders had been invited to this event. They had the chance to see the production floor firsthand. Doing so helps understand the importance of continuing support for advanced manufacturing programs in our state, as well as recognizing career opportunities that are available.
The NTMA
The NTMA unites United States precision manufacturers to advance and safeguard our industry for future generations. We, the members, create opportunities that harness the collective expertise and ingenuity of our members to elevate their capabilities. By speaking and acting with a unified voice, NTMA members advocate for our industry and deliver essential business resources and critical knowledge to our members. Members are dedicated to closing the skills gap by engaging with youth and developing our emerging leaders.

Machine Inc has been an NTMA member for 35 years. Team Machine received a Certificate of Appreciation and Recognition of that honor. It is the mission of the NTMA to engage Precision Manufacturing Companies in the United States to ensure a robust and sustainable supply chain to support our nation’s economy, defense, and citizens. Machine Inc is proud to have been a partner in the NTMA’s mission for 35 years.
